SOLO Winter Driving Tips

Plan ahead for winter driving! ❄️

As the weather cools, your Solo is built to handle the season with ease, but a few simple habits can help you stay even more efficient and comfortable all winter long.

  1. Precondition while plugged in - Warm your cabin and battery before you drive to preserve the range.

  2. Stay plugged in when parked - Let your Solo maintain its ideal battery temperature without draining power.

  3. Top up more often - Cold temperatures can temporarily reduce range, so plan shorter charging intervals.

  4. Use heated seats - They're more efficient than blasting cabin heat.

  5. Keep your charge port clear - Brush away snow and ice to ensure easy charging.

  6. Drive smoothly - Instant torque is great in the dry but gentle acceleration improves traction in slippery situations.

Winter driving can be fun, confident and efficient – especially when your Solo is ready for it. Stay warm, stay charged and enjoy every electric mile!

💡Maintenance Tip for Gen 1 Solo Owners

If you own a Gen1 Solo, please take a moment to check the drain holes located under the hood, at the front of the windshield.

Make sure they’re clear of leaves or debris – if they become blocked, water, snow, or ice can build up in that area.

Keeping these drains clear helps ensure your Solo stays in top condition, especially during the wetter months. 🌨️❄️
